What is API 5L welded steel pipe?

API 5L welded steel pipe refers to steel belt or steel plate bending deformation into a round, square and other shapes after welding, surface joints of the steel pipe. The welded steel pipe has lower cost and higher production efficiency than the seamless steel pipe, and the blank used is steel plate or strip steel. Welded steel pipe has strong corrosion resistance in acidic environment.
