What is large diameter seamless steel pipe?

Large diameter seamless steel pipe is the steel pipe whose outer diameter is more than 1000mm. Steel pipe is made of steel ingot or solid pipe billet through perforation, and then made of hot rolling, cold rolling or cold drawing. Large diameter seamless steel pipe has an important position in our steel pipe industry.

The large-diameter coated steel pipe is made of plastic coated on the basis of large-diameter spiral welded pipe and high-frequency welded pipe. The maximum diameter of pipe mouth is 1200mm. It can be coated with polyvinyl chloride (PVC), polyethylene (PE), EPOZY and other plastic coatings with different properties according to different needs. Resistant to strong acid, alkali and other chemical corrosion, non-toxic, non-rust, wear resistance, impact resistance, permeability resistance, smooth surface of the pipeline, does not adhere to any material, can reduce the resistance when conveying, improve the flow and conveying efficiency, reduce the conveying pressure loss. There is no solvent in the coating, no exudate material, so it will not pollute the medium transported, so as to ensure the purity and hygiene of the fluid, in the range of -40℃ to +80℃ can be used alternately in the cold and hot cycle, no aging, no cracking, so it can be used in harsh environment such as cold zone. Large diameter coated steel pipe is widely used in tap water, natural gas, petroleum, chemical, pharmaceutical, communication, electric power, ocean and other engineering fields.

Production process of large diameter seamless steel pipe:

Circular tube billet → heating → perforation → three-roll diagonal rolling, continuous rolling or extrusion → pipe removal → sizing (or reducing) → cooling → straightening → hydrostatic test (or flaw detection) → marking → storage.
