According to the different performance requirements of the A106 pipeline and the different tempering temperature, the tempering can be divided into the following types:

The microstructure obtained by low temperature tempering is tempered martensite. Its purpose is to reduce the internal stress and brittleness of quenched steel under the premise of maintaining high hardness and high wear resistance, so as to avoid cracking or premature damage during use. It is mainly used for all kinds of high carbon cutting tools, measuring tools, GB/T9711.1 pipeline steel pipes, rolling bearings and carburizing parts, etc. The hardness after tempering is generally HRC58-64.

The structure obtained by moderate tempering is tempered flexite. The aim is to obtain high yield strength, elastic limit and high toughness. Therefore, it is mainly used for all kinds of GB/T9711.1 pipeline steel pipe and hot working die treatment, tempered hardness is HRC35-50.

The microstructure obtained by high temperature tempering is tempered soxhlet. It is customary to combine quenching and high temperature tempering heat treatment called quenching and tempering treatment, its purpose is to obtain strength, hardness and plasticity, toughness are better comprehensive mechanical properties. Therefore, it is widely used in automobile, GB/T9711.1 pipeline steel pipe, machine tools and other important structural parts, such as connecting rods, bolts, gears and shafts. The hardness after tempering is generally HB200-330.

There are two main production processes, one is cold drawing and the other is hot rolling. Cold drawing has higher dimensional accuracy than hot rolling, and the surface of hot rolled steel pipe is rougher. Large diameter seamless steel pipe is hot rolled steel pipe, small diameter is cold drawing process.

The A106 seamless steel pipe for export should be beaded, painted, and treated with plastic tube cap at both ends, and need to go through commodity inspection. Only after qualified commodity inspection can it be exported.
