Carbon steel blind plate is also called Flange cover. It is a flange with no hole in the middle. One of its functions is to block the end of the pipeline. The second is to facilitate the removal of debris in the pipeline during maintenance. As far as the sealing function is concerned, it has the same function as the the plug and cap.
However, there is no way to remove the plug, and the blind flange is fixed with bolts, which is very convenient to remove. The blind flange is made of carbon steel, alloy steel, stainless steel, plastic, etc.

The function of the blind flange: The blind flange plays the role of isolation and cutting off, which is the same as that of the plug and the cap. Because of its good sealing performance, it is generally used as a reliable isolation method for systems that require complete isolation. The blind flange products of our factory include stainless steel blind flange, carbon steel blind flange, alloy blind flange, etc.

In the ANSI B16.5 standard, the flange size that can be produced is 1/2 "-24". Then how can we guarantee the quality for different size of flanges? Let’s take 20” carbon steel blind flanges for example.
1.Raw material inspection, After the raw materials enter the factory, batch-by-batch inspection and timely return of unqualified raw materials.
2.Select high-quality steel blanks for blanking and conduct initial inspection after producing the blanks.
3.After forging, cooling and forming, final inspection is carried out. For unqualified products, they are stacked in the waste disposal area.
4.For qualified products, carry out procedures such as printing, painting and packaging, and place them in the warehouse, waiting for the products to be delivered out of the factory.
