Sometimes some customers also request the A106 pipes according to API standard. Actually it is not correct because there is not any information in API 5L about A106. If the line pipes need to be used for sour environment they should meet the requirements of NACE MR0175. Because this standard mentioned more higher requirement for line pipe which lead the cost is also a little higher than normal.
