Pipe Elbow Dimensions
Pipe Elbow Dimensions:
The dimension of the pipe elbows are always the same as that of the connecting pipe.
The pipe elbows shall be determined according to the pipe size. In nominal pipe size (NPS), it can also be used as nominal diameter (DN).
The thickness is marked in the schedule number. In order to avoid any obstacles caused by the reduction of thickness in the manufacturing process, the joint usually has a higher thickness than the pipe. In order to avoid the mismatch between the pipe elbow ID and the pipe ID, the manufacturer rewind the inner edge of the accessory.
The butt weld pipe elbow dimension is classified according to the pressure temperature grade.
The diameter can be obtained from NPS 1/2 "to 72".
The wall thickness have the following pressure temperature grade.
SCH10, SCH20, SCH30, STD, SCH40, XS, SCH80, SCH100, SCH160, XXS.

The following shall be confirmed when checking the dimension of the pipe elbow.
The diameter of pipe elbow
The length of pipe elbow
The Thickness schedule number
The straightness and perpendicularity of the fitting end.
The degree of elbow and bend.
Concentricity of reducing agent.
